Torrential weather has caused floods, landslides, and damaging winds at around 6 pm. Hundreds of houses were destroyed by the heavy wind. In several videos, tiles of roofs and debris were seen circulating in the air, causing damage to buildings and vehicles.

In several images and videos, debris could be seen scattered on the roads and some even hanging on the wires of poles. With Chinese New Year just two days away, residents are in despair due to the damage caused. A 36-year-old woman shared that the wind continued for about 20 minutes.
A woman in her 60s said she saw the roof of her house being torn off and blown away by the wind. “I really don’t know what to do because Chinese New Year is only two days away how are we going to celebrate it now?” she added.
While another man was grateful that his customers and workers escaped his shop where he was selling food before the roof collapsed due to a storm.
