Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin politely replied to an angry person who lost his temper over the government’s frequently changing policies on the Covid-19 pandemic. Khairy said in his reply that the health ministry makes evidence-based policies to stop the spread of Coronavirus. The man, who tagged Khairy in his Tweet, called the health minister a “hypocritical and wicked people” for changing policies against Covid-19.

“You don’t deserve to be a human being named Khairy Jamaluddin. Get a bribe salary, bribe advisor,” the angry man, whose Twitter account is named @Bulan_Disember, wrote in his Tweet.
Khairy, who did not lose his temper, further asked the man, “if the virus has mutated until there is a new variant, won’t the old approach be used?”.
The government is also changing its policies according to the variants of the virus. Since the Covid-19 pandemic began, more than half of dozens of variants of Coronavirus have been seen around the world.
Currently, the Omicron, which had emerged last year in November in South Africa, is becoming a new dominant variant all over the world, forcing countries to impose stricter restrictions in order to curb the virus.
