Former prime minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad said that Perikatan Nasional’s government led by Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin might collapse if it fails to seek a third and final vote to pass the government’s Budget 2021.
In a joint press conference with Umno, Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah said that he hopes that if the government falls the next government will prioritise people.
When asked if he wants a new government, he said that Malaysia needs a government which is united, otherwise it won’t be able to function.
Meanwhile, Gua Musang MP Tengku Razaleigh has agreed to Dr M described prime minister Muhyiddin Yassin and Perikatan Nasional’s government as illegitimate.
However, when asked Ku Li, if he wanted to join Pejuang, he said they were sitting together merely because they shared a common goal, i.e. a legitimate government.
