At least 30 people have been killed and more than 50 others injured after two passenger trains collided in Pakistan’s northern Sindh province in Ghotki on Monday. According to media reports, Sir Syed Express collided with the Millat Express between Raiti and Obaro Railway stations. The death toll is expected to rise.

In a very unfortunate incident in Ghotki city of Pakistan’s Sindh Province, at least 30 people have been killed after two passenger trains collided. According to authorities, the incident occurred near Raiti Railway Station after Millat Express derailed and a few seconds after the Sir Syed Express train struck Millat.

According to authorities, the rescue operation is underway as dozens of people are still trapped in the garbage of derailed trains. The injured people have been referred to the nearest hospitals.
