Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim calls for a special meeting on Monday with the new Cabinet members which will be announced this afternoon to set a few conditions. He said that the purpose of this meeting will be to talk about ways the members should manage their respective ministeries.

In his speech at Kenduri Rakyat at Masjid Muhammad Al Fateh in Taman Jati, Anwar said, “The meeting will talk about on how to work together with civil servants, how to make media announcements and how to not waste government funds.”
He further said that the main focus of the government is to strengthen and develop the economy. He said that the government needs to identify and make sure to implement the right policies to improve the economy. He called on the politicians and civil servants to avoid all misunderstandings and different views to materialise the matter and asked them to work together.
