Perikatan Nasional chairman Muhyiddin Yassin today said PAS secretary-general Takiyuddin Hassan was never asked to negotiate with Barisan Nasional or any other party over forming a government. He said that PN is contesting in GE15 to form a government without working with any other coalition.

Muhyiddin in a Twitter post said, “I pray that with the will of Allah S.W.T and solid support from the people, PN will win sufficient number of seats to form the federal government and government of the states involved in GE15.”
This comes after Takiyuddin, who is contesting in Kota Bharu parliamentary seat expressed confidence that BN will accept the proposal to work with PN in forming a government after GE15. Takiyuddin also said that PN will form a government by working together with other parties.
