Kuala Lumpur: UMNO is offering peace hand to Bersatu to demand important portfolios in the upcoming general election so that they can form a new government in the near future.
According to sources, UMNO is seeking to win the most number of seats in the next election. A fight between three parties, including PAS and Bersatu, will split the votes.
However, another source said joining hands with DAP would cut down some voters, which they are trying to attract by calling it a truce with PAS and Bersatu.
While, UMNO is registered under BN and PAS under PN. It is believed that Umno will contest the elections using the BN logo while its partner is PN. The elections will be BN and PN.
According to another source, PN and BN will use their recent corporative nature, while distributing the seats. However, UMNO’s supreme council is the one to make the last call.
