Britney Spears is back on Instagram after being absent from the social media platform for a week. The ‘Toxic’ singer announced her return stating that she couldn’t stay away from it for too long and shared some pictures taken during her absence.

Earlier, she shockingly deactivated her Instagram account after sharing the news of her engagement with longtime boyfriend Sam Asghari. In her return post, she shared two pictures, a black and white selfie and a colored version of the same from her engagement celebration.
“Some shots from my weekend getaway to celebrate my engagement with my fiance. I still can’t believe it !!!” she wrote. She also commented on her new hairstyle. She recently cut her hair short and dyed part of it red. But she has been seen with her usual blonde locks on many occasions.
Her lawyer confirmed that she wanted to exit from Instagram herself, breaking full stop on rumours that she was suspended from Insta. Britney Spears has previously made a strong statement with her Instagram. Her account has played a key role in her conservatorship battle and the evolution of the #FreeBritney movement.
