A major blast has left at least 13 people killed in northwestern Pakistan, including 9 Chinese nationals on Wednesday. China called for severe punishment for those who were responsible for the attack, while Pakistan claimed that it happened due to a gas leak. Police has started the investigation into the matter, but it’s yet to clear the reason behind the attack. According to local media reports, the bus was carrying Chinese engineers, who have been working in Pakistan on several projects.

According to authorities, more than 25 people were also injured in the incident. The bus was travelling to Dasu dam, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, where hydroelectric and other projects are under construction.
