Police Nabs 10 Suspects Over Retired Researcher’s Murder In Bangsar

Kuala Lumpur: Police have arrested 10 individuals suspected of being involved in the murder of a former researcher with the Malaysian Agricultural Research and Development Institute (MARDI).

Dr Wan Hassan Wan Embong was killed in a home invasion at his house in Bangsar by burglars.

Brickfields Police chief ACP Anuar Omar confirmed the news and stated that the arrest was made last night, however, the details will be shared by Kuala Lumpur Police chief Datuk Saiful Azly Kamaruddin in a press conference.

Dr Wan Hassan Wan Embong was slashed on his neck and body and died at the scene while his wife was admitted to the Universiti Malaya Medical Centre (UMMC) with slash wounds to her shoulder.

The burglars attacked him while he was putting up a fight against them when they broke into the house through the kitchen window.
