Kuala Lumpur: The UMNO Supreme Council has called for a special meeting at Menara Datuk Onn in Kuala Lumpur at 8 pm tonight.
The meeting comes amid rumours that three candidates from UMNO are to be named for the Deputy Prime Minister’s position. According to reports, the agenda of the meeting has yet to be confirmed, however, it is believed it meeting will revolve around the deputy Prime Minister’s allocation.
An unnamed source stated that the agenda of the meeting will only be out after the it ends.
Earlier, UMNO announced its support for Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin and his party Perikatan National.
