Washington DC: Muriel Bowser, Mayor of Washington, DC, has ordered a curfew across the city and put the US capitol under lockdown after hundreds of Donald Trump supporters entered the building and ransacked it. Trump’s supporters, who want to overturn the election result, have created a ruckus in the US capitol hours after Trump made a speech, saying that “we will never accept the election result”.
Several videos related to the riots in the US Capitol have gone viral on social media, where Trump followers can be seen breaching the police barricade and chanting the USA!… USA!… while holding the US flags.
The ruckus of Trump supporters have forced lawmakers and the US Vice President forced to leave the building. A woman also shot dead during the firing inside the Capitol, US media claim.
Several US people and journalists have urged US authorities to arrest President Donald Trump and hold the responsibility for these unfortunate scenes in Washington DC.

Meanwhile, elected-US President Joe Biden has expressed his indignation on the matter, saying “Let me be very clear: the scenes of chaos at the Capitol do not represent who we are. What we are seeing is a small number of extremists dedicated to lawlessness. This is not dissent, it’s disorder. It borders on sedition, and it must end now”.
